Congratulations on joining The University of Manchester community
Whether you are new to the University, new to Manchester, or new to the UK, starting a new chapter in your life can be confusing as well as exciting.
University will be different from school or college, you may not know what is expected of you or how to navigate all the new systems and ways of working. Dont panic, just ask! It's ok we are all expecting your questions no matter how big or small they may seem to you.

Welcome week
During welcome week you'll be exploring the university, the city and completing your course registration.
If you want to know more about finding part-time jobs and how to make the most of your time here check out the careers events on the Welcome events schedule, you won't need to register just come along.
After registration you'll be able to access the UoM CareerConnect portal to access appointments, events, live job opportunities and more. Until then use our website to start exploring!
